My desk is covered with bits and pieces, because I changed the back room around on saturday. When we bought our house it came with a Pool table, and although it seemed like a great idea to keep the table it took up most of the room. We decided to sell it and turn the backroom into another lounge area, along with the computer desk, craft desk and sewing desk! The rest of the room looks neat and tidy but everything was piled on top of my desk.
My aim is to put all the sewing stuff inside the sewing cupboard! That would make sense wouldn't it? And I want to keep my eye out for an old bookcase to stack all my bits and pieces inside! I'm at the beginning of a big house rearrange too. I have piles of stuff all over the place waiting for law and order to take control.
I agree a pool room is much better as a craft room. It's really lovely to have your own space isn't it.
Did you put the pool table on Ebay?
I can so relate to actually trying to find space on the desk and I don't even have moving as an excuse.
